“You have to tell your own story simultaneously as you live it.”

The Creators Compass
A huge misconception in the industry is that the number of years you have under your belt magically gives you “confidence”. You can easily work for 7-10 years and still walk around wondering if you’re good enough to be in certain rooms. This will happen if the way you think about “worth” isn’t addressed.
Let’s fix that.
Juniors Post more about what you are learning. You impress by showing that you truly, genuinely understand the tools you are learning. Not just spitting out another tutorial.Seniors/Freelancers/Studio OwnersDo post-mortems/retrospectives on past projects. Focus on the interesting ways you solved problems. Every project presents a unique opportunity to show this.
When you show your process. You build trust.
Online, everyone just shows the final product. Maybe a ”breakdown” to some music. Then come the responses. “Awesome work!”… “This is great stuff!”… “So 🔥🔥”
Shift your natural hunger for validation online, and instead, learn to present your work/thoughts in a way that naturally attracts the people that want to pay you. Then you’ll get DM’s that start with “saw your last post. Are you available for…?”This literally happened during the last cohortPS - If you want to learn the entire play-by-play on getting more clients reaching out to you in the next 30 days, click here join the cohort. We start this Monday, October 6th. *Our last cohort had an average profile impression lift of 2500%*Otherwise, keep crushing it,
