“The object isn’t to make art, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.” — Robert Henri (from The Art Spirit)

The Creators Compass: Motivation

Motivation is a weird word. We need it to “get things done”. Yet we all have a love/hate relationship with it. We want it, but it seems to slip away.

In this email I’ll show you how to get infinite motivation.  It starts with the reality you don’t want.  - If I told you an important family member was going to die unless you came up with $20k, what’s the percentage chance you’d find it? 100% chance. You’d maximize your resources/connections. Also similar, is how many people seem to suddenly get their life together when they have a kid. Something spurs inside the parent(s) that wants the child’s potential to be realized. Thus they let no excuses hold them back. In both scenarios, either person realizes an extreme negative reality. One is a dead family member, and the other, seeing both your life and your child’s life as a failure. For motivation to be in surplus in your life, you must be in emotional close proximity to a future you never want to happen. Then, automatically, you find ways to be extremely resourceful and do whatever it takes.

PS - Because you’ve been supportive to my mission I’m giving you 50% off the cohort happening this Monday. I told the last group to write an honest, no-holds-barred review of their experience. Read it for yourself. Also, look at what they were saying during the experience.

This is a very small fraction of the positive results. If you’re done waiting for “something” to happen, sick and tired of where you’re at in your career and ready to get real results in 30 days, join the cohort today. The link only lasts for the next 48 hours. Know a friend that’s ready for a change? Just send them this email. -Rich
